Alumni Resources I could go on and on about connections I made with staff and my peers through student activities and groups. Just the constant support I had through them gave me a family there even though my family was four hours away. Jeffrey Germak ’14 My W&J education has encouraged me to travel and experience cultures that are different from what I know. My independent research gives me the opportunity to get experience studying something that I will have a career in in the future. Kelsea Siter, Public Policy ’20 W&J encourages students to get out of their comfort zone and try something they only dreamed of doing. Will Tucker, Sociology ’20 I credit this opportunity to Dr. DeBerry and her class during JayTerm that helped tremendously with applying to science-related internships. I highly recommend it to all future students who are interested in finding a science-related internship. Brach Herzig, Psychology ’20 The most surreal part of this experience is that down the road, some of the research I have done could possibly lead to treatments for people that are affected by these bacteria, which is mainly people with cystic fibrosis.
